I received an email update from Green Dimes today. I've included the highlights below, outlining how many trees and amount of water that have been saved, as well as a push for more subscribers. As an incentive they are planting more trees. I've been a member since November and have a definite decrease in the amount of junk mail and catalogs that I receive. All in all, seems like a very well run company and they are truly making a difference. More information is at www.greendimes.com.

The latest issue of the Boston Review has an article by Kerry Emanuel titled "Phaeton's Reins" with the subject of Can We Stop Global Warming?. It's in the print edition, as well as the Boston Review's Website. It provides an excellent and down to earth look at the physics and science behind global warming.
