All you homeowners and bill-payers out there: a great Energy-Efficiency workshop taught by Bruce Stahlberg of Affordable Energy Solutions. Bruce has years of experience saving people money by helping them identify where there energy costs are going and getting started on fixing the problems. He is doing a workshop at Sundays Energy, in the Ivy Building at 2637 27th Avenue South, in Seward Neighborhood. On the 31st of January, a wednesday.

Laundromat Goes Green
Posted January 22nd, 2007 by Emily WhebbeTom Benson's "World's Largest Laundromat" has gone green...not once, but twice. Benson added solar panels in 2001, only to have a fire destroy the building in 2004. What to do? Build it again...and this time make it even more environmentally friendly!

One company, "Green Dimes", poses just one of many answers to the epidemic of paper waste. For just $36 a year, they will reduce junk mail instances AND plant one tree per month on your behalf.
