Emily’s progressive upbringing prepared her for a lifetime of sustainability. She has always been interested in the environment and helping others realize their impact on it. While attending the University of Minnesota, Morris, Emily’s interest in renewable energy peaked when the university built a 1.6 megawatt wind turbine on the plains of West Central Minnesota. After spending three years in the rural landscape, she returned home to Saint Paul. Joining Sundays Energy was the best fit for her to continue her studies in saving the world.
As a part of Sundays Energy, Emily has started Books for the Future, an independent bookseller that plants a tree for each book sold.
