Recently I helped start a new locally-based company in Minneapolis called Sundays Energy (a progression from the Twin Cities Biodiesel Coop). We are a community and employee-owned renewable energy company that myself and the rest of our team have worked very hard to develop. If you haven't already heard about us, please take some time to see what we're up to by browsing our website at sundaysenergy.com.
We have projects involving biodiesel, which is a tremendously exciting renewable source for transportation, industry, and heating. We have solar hot water and energy-efficiency projects in the works, and we’re developing a strong community presence by offering affordable workshops. You are familiar with my ongoing commitment to a better world, and you’ve watched my growing pragmatism as I adapt my ideals to my knowledge of how things actually work. This is a project I am proud of, worthy of my time, resources and skills.
Our mission:
*Unite communities, farmers, businesses and investors in renewable energy initiatives through an integrated, diversified, member-owned company.
*Reduce regional and world dependence on unstable and polluting energy sources by facilitating conservation and the use of “green” technologies such as biodiesel, solar, and wind.
*Build a profitable enterprise that offers financial security to its members and those employed.
This letter is intended to simply put the word out and gain some interest in what we’re doing. We are dedicated to advancing renewable energy and intelligent sustainability in our community, our region, our world. This is not a lone struggle; we now turn to you and ask for your support. Please, come to one of our socials or workshops, become a member, visit our website or simply spread the word. Thank you for your time and support.
