Biodiesel - Clean, Renewable, Local, Today

When Rudolph Diesel showed his engine at the 1900 World's Fair, he declared that it could be fueled by peanut oil. Diesel envisioned his engine being powered by a variety of oilseed crops from local farms -- fuel that could harness the potential of local economies. More than 100 years later, Americans are coming back to the spirit and substance of Diesel's vision!

Sundays Energy leads the Upper Midwest in marketing high-blend biodiesel, with various brands and blends available based on customer needs. A network of distributors and producers is constantly ready to deliver our fuel. And with our brokering services, we can help companies purchase millions of gallons of biodiesel for distribution across the country.

Solar - The Warmth of the Sun

“Solar” is the Latin word for “sun” – and it’s an extremely powerful source of energy. In fact, the sunlight that shines on the Earth in just one hour could meet world energy demand for an entire year! Most of the energy we use is, in one form or another, really solar energy.

The term solar power is used to describe a number of methods of harnessing energy from the light of the sun.  Although it has been present in many traditional building methods for centuries, solar power has become of increasing interest lately as the environmental costs and limited supply of fossil fuels are realized.  It is already in widespread use where other power supplies are absent, such as in remote locations and in space.

Wind - Powerful and Invisible

Wind is simple air in motion. It is caused by the uneven heating of the earth’s surface by the sun. Since ancient times, people have harnessed the wind's energy. Over 5,000 years ago, the ancient Egyptians used wind to sail ships on the Nile River. Later, people built windmills to grind wheat and other grains. The earliest known windmills were in Persia.

A wind energy system transforms the kinetic (moving) energy of the wind into mechanical or electrical energy that can be harnessed for practical use. Today, wind energy is mainly used to generate electricity. Wind turbines generate electricity for homes, businesses, and for sale to utilities. In addition, wind energy is a clean, safe, and renewable power source.
