Riley Curran first became interested in sustainability in high school, when books by Paul Hawken and Bill McDonough captured his imagination of what could be. Riley was utterly converted to all things sustainable during the Co-op America Green Festival in D.C. and says he lost confidence in politics to consistently care about the environment on November 3rd, 2004. Riley believes that the laws of supply and demand will bring sustainability mainstream, and believes that Sundays Energy is working at both ends. He is currently a junior at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he plans on majoring in business and taking a ton of environmental studies classes. This is his second year of getting paid to save the world, a.k.a. working for Biodiesel Blue, and Sundays Energy. Riley has also worked with Aveda, Co-op America, and Minnesota Wastewise.
